| Overview: | The old control and drives were removed. The old s ervomotors and spindle motors removed. New system and drives mounted along with new motors adapted and fitted. |
| Operating Modes : | This machine had two modes for operation. Slotting Mode for the heavy slotting work and Horizontal Mode for the lighter detail machining work. |
| Dual Stations: | Two operating stations were installed to allow easy switching between Slotting Mode and Horizontal Mode. A semi-auto manual function was integrated via the PLC to allow simple manual machining without the use of a part program. |
