| Overview: | This machine was originally rebuilt and retrofitted back in 1993, when we installed a full Siemens package consisting of an 820T control, 610 analogue drives & a 6RA24 spindle drive and motor. The customer recently contracted us to upgrade the system and drives to be compatible with some of their exiting machines. |
| History : | This machine was originally a manually operated machine and had two ram with turrets. One ram and turret plus all manual electrics & mechanical items were removed. New servos and ball screws were fitted along with full CNC functionally |
| Operating Station: | The existing freestanding operating station with the Siemens 820T was removed. The Fanuc 18 i control was fitted to hanging pendent arm for easier use & accessibility. |
