| Loading: | The Loading station is a fabricated structure as shown in picture.Copper straps are moved into the load slot by hand and located with a hand operated plunger so as to be correctly positioned to be picked up by the bending station axis drive unit. |
| Strap Infeed: | The loading station carraige feeds the copper strip towards the bending unit. A light barrier extends the length of the load axis to protect the operator from the dangers of trapping. |
| Bending: | The bending station consists of two bending units driven in the rotary plane by axis drive motors. The advantage of this is that by using position feedback from the drives, infinitely variable control of the bend angle and speed of bending can be achieved. |
| Annealing: | The annealing station comprises of one induction heating unit 60/80KW with the heating coil mounted on a carriage capable of being moved in the X Y plane. The movement is again controlled by CNC axis drives and capable of infinite positional moves and speeds.. |
| Cleaning: | Transport units comprising of motor driven pinch roller sets convey the strip in & out of the Cleaning Station.The pinch rollers are driven by invertors to give infinitely variable speed control of the product through the cleaning station to facilitate cleaning the strip over its entire length, but with differing degrees of finish. |
| Unload & Stacking: | The unload station is a fabricated structure. The transport units comprise of motor driven pinch roller sets which convey the strip into the unload station where it is stopped with proximity detectors in the correct place. |
