| Overview: | The obsolete control system had failed leaving the machine out of commission. We fitted a new state of the art control system and installed our in house developed software for beam saws called GP-SAWCUT |
| Servos: | The original servo drives and motors were retained. All the position feedback encoders were upgraded to Heidenhain Rod 426 encoders to give greater accuracy and reliability |
| Features: | All the exiting features were retained plus some new methods considered to be the norm in today's panel cutting industry. |
| Operating: | The old operating station was fitted with a new user interface. All software SIPROM (PLC), STORM (Multitasking Process Control) and GP-SAWCUT (Operating interface) previously developed for these application was installed. GP-SAWCUT was also installed on the customers LAN and hooked up to the machine to allow full DNC offline programming. |
